Frequently asked questions

Straight answers for solo miners.

What is solo mining?

Solo mining means your workers attempt to discover a valid network block rather than earning proportional pool shares. Results are probabilistic and a reward is not guaranteed.

Do I need a Nexus Pool account?

No. Connect using the appropriate wallet address and optional worker name, then look up that wallet on the dashboard.

Which regional endpoint should I use?

Use the geographically closest healthy endpoint US, EU or Asia to minimize network latency. The dashboard shows which region an active worker is using.

What is best difficulty?

It measures the strongest share submitted. Session best resets after a disconnect and reconnect; the wallet's best-ever result persists.

What is the pool fee?

Nexus Pool charges a transparent 1% pool fee.

Can I use multiple workers?

Yes. Add distinct worker names so individual devices are easy to identify while viewing the wallet dashboard.

What happens if a Nexus Pool miner finds a block?

The pool records the discovery and exposes public block information in the dashboard's found-blocks section. Network confirmation still depends on the applicable blockchain.
